<strong>Job Title:</strong> PMO – Solar Projects<br><br><strong>Designation:</strong> PMO Manager / Project Management Office Lead<br><br><strong>Department:</strong> Project Management Office (PMO) – Solar EPC<br><br><strong>Reporting To:</strong> Project Director / Head – Projects / Chief Operating Officer (COO)<br><br><strong>Job Summary<br><br></strong>The PMO is responsible for establishing project governance, monitoring project performance, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring effective planning, execution, reporting, and control of solar EPC projects. The role supports project leadership by tracking schedules, costs, risks, documentation, and overall project delivery milestones.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Project Planning &amp; Monitoring<br><br><ul><li>Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, and milestone tracking.</li><li>Monitor project progress against approved timelines, budgets, and deliverables.</li><li>Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Quality, Safety, and Commissioning teams.</li><li>Track project activities and identify delays, risks, and critical issues.</li><li>Support project managers in achieving project completion targets.<br><br></li></ul>Project Controls &amp; Reporting<br><br><ul><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.</li><li>Maintain project dashboards, MIS reports, and performance trackers.</li><li>Monitor project KPIs related to schedule, cost, quality, and productivity.</li><li>Track project risks, opportunities, and mitigation plans.</li><li>Support management review meetings with accurate project updates.<br><br></li></ul>Coordination &amp; Documentation<br><br><ul><li>Ensure proper documentation of project records, approvals, drawings, reports, and correspondence.</li><li>Coordinate with stakeholders for timely closure of project actions.</li><li>Maintain project change management records and approval status.</li><li>Support audit requirements and project compliance documentation.<br><br></li></ul>Solar Project Coordination<br><br><ul><li>Monitor progress of engineering deliverables, material procurement, site execution, testing, and commissioning activities.</li><li>Track key solar project milestones such as:</li><ul><li>Land readiness</li><li>Engineering approvals</li><li>Material delivery</li><li>Civil works completion</li><li>Module installation</li><li>Electrical installation</li><li>Testing &amp; commissioning</li><li>Grid synchronization</li></ul><li>Coordinate with site teams to resolve project execution challenges.<br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Project Management / Business Administration.</li><li>PMP, Primavera, or project management certification preferred.</li><li>5–10 years of experience in project controls, PMO, or EPC project management, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects.<br><br></li></ul>Technical Skills<br><br><ul><li>Knowledge of Solar EPC project lifecycle.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, Excel, and project reporting tools.</li><li>Understanding of project planning, scheduling, and risk management.</li><li>Knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction processes.<br><br></li></ul>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<br><br><ul><li>Accurate project reporting and MIS management.</li><li>Effective schedule monitoring and delay reduction.</li><li>Timely closure of project actions.</li><li>Improved coordination between project teams.</li><li>Successful achievement of project milestones.</li></ul>
