<p>Senior CSRD / ESG Sustainability Reporting Consultant</p><p><br></p><p>About the Role</p><p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Senior Sustainability Reporting Consultant</strong> to join a cross-functional team driving the continuous improvement of sustainability reporting, governance, and data digitalization within an international energy environment.</p><p>You will work closely with stakeholders across Belgium and Germany, collaborating with teams including Finance, Controlling, HR, Sustainability, Infrastructure, Asset Management, IT, Communications, and external auditors. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the further development of CSRD reporting processes and governance in a complex international organization.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>1. Lead Governance-Related Sustainability Reporting</p><ul><li>Lead the preparation of governance-related sustainability reporting for the annual audit.</li><li>Coordinate governance reporting activities across Belgian and German entities.</li><li>Prepare governance-related sections of the Sustainability Statements.</li><li>Support the implementation of group-wide due diligence processes.</li><li>Coordinate data collection for governance-related sustainability disclosures.</li><li>Document governance processes related to human rights.</li><li>Coordinate audit activities with internal stakeholders and external auditors.</li></ul><p>2. Support CSRD / ESRS Reporting</p><ul><li>Contribute to the preparation of General Requirements (ESRS 2) disclosures.</li><li>Support operational activities related to the Double Materiality Assessment.</li><li>Engage stakeholders across the organization to ensure accurate and consistent sustainability reporting.</li><li>Help strengthen reporting governance and reporting processes.</li></ul><p>3. Drive Sustainability Data Digitalization</p><ul><li>Lead the delivery of an online sustainability data and policy catalogue.</li><li>Coordinate implementation with Communications, Digital, Strategy, Sustainability, and Compliance teams.</li><li>Ensure timely execution and alignment with agreed project milestones.</li></ul><p>Required Experience</p><ul><li>Minimum <strong>5 years of professional experience</strong> in sustainability reporting, ESG reporting, audit, or related fields.</li><li>Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with <strong>CSRD</strong>, <strong>ESRS</strong>, and <strong>Double Materiality Assessments</strong>.</li><li>Experience with ESG or financial assurance/audits (consultancy background is highly desirable).</li><li>Knowledge of additional sustainability frameworks such as <strong>GRI, SASB, or TCFD</strong> is an advantage.</li><li>Master's degree in Finance, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.</li></ul><p>Skills</p><ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Excellent project management and organizational skills.</li><li>High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within international teams.</li><li>Professional, reliable, ethical, and results-oriented mindset.</li><li>Genuine passion for sustainability and driving positive environmental and social impact.</li></ul><p>Languages</p><ul><li><strong>Dutch:</strong> Fluent (mandatory)</li><li><strong>English:</strong> Fluent (mandatory)</li><li><strong>French:</strong> Good working proficiency</li></ul><p></p>
