<strong>About The Role<br><br></strong>Are you an<strong> experienced commercial contracts</strong> professional who thrives on managing supplier relationships, maximising contract value, and supporting the operation of critical renewable energy assets across the UK?<br><br>At EDF power solutions, we’re delivering an Electric UK and Ireland.<br><br>As Contract Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our operational wind, solar and renewable assets receive <strong>exceptional commercial support</strong>. You'll build<strong> strategic supplier relationships,</strong> manage complex contracts, <strong>resolve commercial issues</strong>, and help maximise performance, value and accountability across our growing renewables portfolio.<br><br><strong>The Opportunity<br><br></strong>This is an opportunity to become the <strong>commercial focal point for key operational contracts</strong> within one of the UK's leading renewable energy businesses. You'll manage a portfolio of service and <strong>operational contracts</strong> that are<strong> critical </strong>to the performance, safety and reliability of our renewable energy assets, including wind farms and associated infrastructure.<br><br>Working closely with Asset Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, HSE and external partners, you'll support the <strong>full contract lifecycle,</strong> from issuing contractual instructions and administering contract changes through to commercial negotiations, performance management and dispute resolution. You'll play a key role in ensuring <strong>strategic suppliers deliver high-quality</strong>, high-voltage services that support safe and efficient operations.<br><br>Alongside a<strong> competitive salary </strong>and potential for an annual bonus, you'll join a growing business operating at the forefront of the energy transition. To be shortlisted, you'll need:<br><br><ul><li>Experience in contract management and supplier performance management</li><li>Experience negotiating, administering and varying contracts throughout their lifecycle</li><li>Experience managing operational, maintenance or service contracts and supporting supply chain activities</li><li>Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams and external partners</li><li>Experience managing strategic suppliers, driving performance and resolving commercial issues</li><li>Strong knowledge of contract terms and conditions, commercial risk and governance</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of contracts and competing priorities</li><li>Knowledge of Health &amp; Safety requirements and their commercial implications (IOSH desirable but not necessary)</li><li>A relevant commercial, procurement, supply chain or business qualification, or equivalent experience within a complex industry<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You'll Be Doing<br><br></strong><ul><li>Managing strategic supplier relationships and driving accountability across operational contracts</li><li>Supporting the commercial management of service and maintenance contracts for renewable energy assets</li><li>Negotiating contracts, issuing contractual instructions and managing contract variations and scope changes</li><li>Monitoring supplier performance and delivering effective contract governance</li><li>Supporting supply chain activities and providing commercial guidance to operational teams</li><li>Managing claims, disputes and commercial risks to successful resolution</li><li>Working closely with stakeholders across Asset Operations, Engineering, HSE and Supply Chain</li><li>Providing commercial support on Health &amp; Safety-related matters and investigations where required</li><li>Ensuring critical services are delivered safely, effectively and in line with contractual obligations<br><br></li></ul><strong>Pay, Benefits And Culture<br><br></strong>If you’re looking to join a company where you <strong>can work hard, have fun, and help to create a net zero future</strong> – then you’re in the right place!
