Our ambition is simple: to be our clients’ most valued asset-management partner.<br><br></em><strong>Group Description<br><br></strong><em>Sitting within the Fixed Income department, the Corporate Credit Research team is a global organization with team members in New York, Nashville, London, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Pune, Mumbai, and Hangzhou. Our research analysts and associates play key roles in identifying and analyzing market inefficiencies and opportunities and working closely with our portfolio managers to translate the most attractive opportunities into appropriate risk exposures in client portfolios. Analysts specialize by market segment (Investment Grade, High Yield, and Emerging Markets) and collaborate closely across teams to leverage their industry knowledge and specialized credit skills across all our fixed income strategies.<br><br></em><strong>Specific Responsibilities<br><br></strong><em>All aspects of research and diligence of companies, including financial modeling, and company, industry, ESG, and covenant analysis Remain current on industry news, trends, and controversies across assigned coverage. Provide relevant updates and presentations to the investment teams about new issue analysis and credit updates Develop an independent view of an issuer and its ratings, leveraging our proprietary ratings framework Provide analysis across performing and distressed credits within given sectors Develop and maintain a strong network of company sponsor, sell-side and buy-side contacts<br><br></em><strong><em>What makes this role unique or interesting (if applicable)?<br><br></em></strong><ul><li>Develop fundamental credit research skills across various sectors</li><li>Collaborate across the firm’s investment research teams, including credit and equity</li><li>Regularly present to senior members of the investment team about sectors and issuers</li><li>Develop an understanding about how we run client portfolios<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications, Experience, Education<br><br></strong><em>This position requires:<br><br></em><ul><li>Strong analytical and quantitative skills, demonstrated through academic and professional record</li><li>Ability to think broadly about the prospects of a business and how those could impact future value</li><li>Relentless drive with a passion for research</li><li>Strong work ethic and attention to detail</li><li>Excellent communications skills</li><li>Ability to work well both independently and on teams</li><li>Deep understanding of financial statement modeling<br><br></li></ul><strong>Special Knowledge (if Applicable)<br><br></strong><ul><li>BS or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Economics<br><br></li></ul><strong><em>Location:</em></strong><em> Pune, India<br><br></em>Pune, India
